Welcome to Music Tech Hub of Musictechhub.org (“Website”, “Service”). By accessing or using our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Website.
1. General Information
Owner: Bradley Smith (“We”, “Us”, “Our”) operates as a sole trader.
Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
2. Eligibility & Account Creation
- Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If under 18, you agree to obtaining parental or guardian consent ahead of creating an account.
- Accounts must not be shared. Unauthorized sharing of login details may result in immediate suspension or termination.
- We reserve the right to monitor login locations and IP addresses for security purposes and to prevent account misuse. If an account is accessed from multiple locations in a suspicious manner, we may terminate access without refund.
3. Access to Free & Paid Content
- We offer free access to 1 or 2 sample lessons within a free membership account.
- Full access to premium content requires a paid subscription or time-limited license.
- Special access may occasionally be granted via discount codes or other means at our discretion.
4. Intellectual Property & Usage Restrictions
All content, including but not limited to videos, slides, audio, images, and text, is protected under intellectual property laws. Some resources, such as handouts and materials clearly marked and provided as downloadable, may be printed and distributed solely for educational purposes. Any other content must not be copied, recorded, screenshot, screen captured, photographed, modified, distributed, shared, or reproduced in any manner. Users must not:
- Copy, record, screenshot, screen capture, photograph, modify, distribute, share, or reproduce any materials.
- Redistribute or provide access to third parties, including learners, outside of an educational setting.
- Use the content for commercial purposes or resell any resources.
- Allow students or any unauthorized individuals to copy, store, or share any content.
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.
5. Subscription & Payment Terms
- No Refunds: Once a user has paid for access, no refunds will be provided.
- In exceptional circumstances (e.g., administrative errors for multi-license purchases by organizations), we may make adjustments but will not issue refunds.
- Users must ensure they have the appropriate permissions if purchasing on behalf of an organization.
6. Account Termination & Violations
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts without refund if:
- A user violates intellectual property terms or shares content without permission.
- We detect multiple location logins suggesting unauthorized sharing.
- A user engages in fraudulent activities or any action that harms our Website.
7. Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR Compliance)
- We collect name, email, and payment details to manage accounts and payments.
- Payment transactions are handled securely by Stripe; we do not store credit card details.
- We comply with the UK and EU GDPR regulations. Users can request access to or deletion of their data. If a user uploads an avatar image, they acknowledge that it may be publicly visible to other users. Users should not upload sensitive or personally identifiable images if they do not wish them to be displayed.
- We do not sell, rent, or distribute personal information to third parties except when necessary to process payments or as required by law.
8. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Website after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
